Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Return merchandise can not be accepted without an RA number. Please have the following information ready when calling for an RA number: customer name, purchase order number, item name and number and the nature of the problem.
All defective products (except wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts) will be accepted by Home Care Essentials for credit, exchange, or repair at Home Care Essentials' discretion within 30 days from the date of purchase. All defective wheelchairs, scooters, and patient lifts will be accepted by Home Care Essentials for repair or replacement only at Home Care Essentials' discretion within 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, the manufacturer's warranty applies.
Some non-defective products may be returned for credit or exchange. Those returns authorized by Home Care Essentials are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, and must be completed within 30 days of the date of purchase. Due to manufacturers' return policies, titanium wheelchairs, custom wheelchairs, and other custom equipment may be returned to Home Care Essentials for repairs only - no refunds or exchanges can be made. Due to governmental health standards, certain bath safety items can not be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
All return merchandise must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase, complete and in resaleable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.
Home Care Essentials reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the date of purchase. If the product is accepted after 30 days, credit will be issued toward future purchases only.

Order Deadlines. Typically, orders placed by noon in your time zone, Mon-Fri (excluding holidays), will process and ship on that same day. Orders placed after noon in your time zone will typically process and ship on the next business day.
Delivery Time. UPS Ground delivery may take up to five (5) business days but typically occurs within three (3) business days or less, depending upon your location. Items that are oversized or overweight will be shipped via commercial freight only, which may take up to an additional ten (10) business days. Guaranteed 2nd Day Air delivery takes one to two (1-2) business days. Guaranteed Next Day Air delivery takes one (1) business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Special Circumstances. Most orders are shipped direct from the factory. A back order notification will be sent on any item that is not in stock. We offer a complete range of delivery options. All options, however, may not be available for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or US territories. At this time, international delivery is not offered.
Sales tax must be added to orders shipped to destinations within the state of Utah only. We are not required to collect sales tax on shipments outside of Utah.
